1AAUTO definitely helps you save money and gives you the best parts! I got some nice disc rotors INCLUDING the brake pads really cheap from these guys for the Explorer. Excellent guys. I love your videos. Thank you so much! Keep making the great videos guys.

I took my 2002 Ford Explorer to a recommended transmission mechanic who is also teaches transmissions at a Technical school. He says that the problem that my transmission slips from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th is because there is a leak in a hole that now has to be bored out and a sleeve put in to make the hole the correct size. This he says costs about $2,400 to $2,500.00. He seems to be an honest man but how can I be sure it is just a valve cover gasket that has blown?

@cuervo1957 The only way to find out if it is the valve body gasket is to take it apart. The gaskets to do it are not expensive so the real cost is the time to do it, If it is your valve body gasket you will save yourself $2300 to $2400, if not then you are out a few hours and a few bucks.
