How to test a starter capacitor: Does the motor spin? If it does then the capacitor is working! Much easier.

  5. bikkubadmash says:

    thankyou so much bud

  6. Prozackityzac says:

So if the motor doesn’t spin? It’s either the motor or the capacitor, this is how to test the capacitor numb nuts.

  7. decelectronicsltd says:

It’s just the easiest way to tell if the capacitor is working or not.

  8. Prozackityzac says:

the motor might not spin because it’s defective and the capacitor can still be good.

So your method is not an intelligent way to determine the true problem.

    I’m done.

  9. decelectronicsltd says:

It still tells you if the capacitor is working or not.

  10. Prozackityzac says:

you must get a lot of callbacks.

  12. Prozackityzac says:

well you’re lucky then, cause you’d probably be getting lots of call backs.
