  2. marek0086 says:

he also said to check when car is at operating temp……this one wasnt coz he’d be burning himself bad!

  3. frostbaracudas says:

yep you have to start up the engine to check the level and after that stop the engine and put oil

  4. balersalvage says:

PAY ATTENTION!!! He is checking a manual (stick-shit) transmission. You don’t have a stick shift running when you check it. He did it just like he was supposed to. And you only get burnt if you touch something HOT. He was being careful.

  5. Rizixxxx says:

cars are designed for fluid levels to be check when the engine is cool. which is the most reasonable way.

  12. danielbarbu says:

automatic transmission needs to be checked when the engine and transmission are hot because you don’t get the right reading.

  13. riccisantiago says:

not always, little warm is much better, especially for engine oil. of course we cant check it if its just arrived or travelled long distances
